Having being selected for the CICT course was both a matter of joy and a matter of concern for me. Joy, because I was about to join a team of professionals, led by a dynamic leader under whose leadership I was sure to hone and develop my skills. A whole new world of learning had opened its doors and I could accumulate as much wealth as I wished.
Concern, because I was worried whether I would be able to meet the demands of the course. (A few people, whom I know, had told me that it is a very demanding course.) After the first meeting I was at ease and surely very excited to take it up.
I have always wanted to continue to learn and grow in my professional field and the CICT Course was a wonderful opportunity to do this. I reflected on the famous saying" Ships are safe in the harbour, but this is not what they are meant for". So I took it as a challenge as I believe until we put ourselves in difficult situations, we don't realise how far we can go.........
